Polliwogs-26.2.2010

It was a Saturday morning when everybody was working, I brought Dan Dan to Polliwogs for the very 1st time. I had heard about the fun-filled play gym for very long time but yet to really plan and give it a bump. After dada left for work, me and Dan Dan also followed from behind to get out the house too!! heehee... Daddy worked hard hard, Mummy and Dan Dan play hard hard ma..hehe.

Polliwogs is located along the East Coast Park so we took a cab down and here's the front view of the Polliwogs as we were there quite early so not so much of people getting around as yet. Polliwogs can looks very dull from outside but internally, it is full of energy and excitement and it is one of the kid's paradise among all the other play gyms.

Here's come the inside look of the gym with the adult + child's size cafeteria just right beside the gym. So far, it is one of the best gym that I have been to as the size of the gym is not to big or small and the cafeteria is just beside the gym where the parents can just easily watch their child from the cafeteria but of course this is only applicable to the elder kids and for younger child, it is still need tight supervision from parents within the play area.

Look at the morning scene from the Polliwogs; daddy, mummy and friends were just relaxed one side to read their newspaper, magazine, chatting over the breakfast while the kids were having great time at their own fantasy world. As for me, I still don't have the luxury yet as Dan Dan is still required my supervision so I was with him throughout the whole play and I was half-dead after the 30 min run and bend inside the tiny play scape when Dan Dan still refused to rest. Oh my, spare me a chance to rest please.....

And by looking at this ball pit, we have to climb up to the second level of the playscape and then slide down and reach the ball pit, and Dan took me so many round for the same action and while he was having so much fun, I was breathless and cant continue anymore, it was just too exhausted... end up I was just seating inside the ball pit just like what those maids were doing while watching him throwing the balls, picking up the ball, putting in the ball the bucket and so on. and yes, it was a good time for me to snap some of his photos as well.

Here's the obstacle that he had to climb over. Anyway it was just peanut action for him nowadays as I still remembered he had the hard time climbing over one panel when we 1st brought him to the 1st play gym at gogo bambini... and by just thinking of it, again time flies...and he has grown up quite a fair bit~~

Guess where he got the little push toy monkey from? in fact I also don't know, when I noticed it, it was already with him and I guess he must be just picked it up from someone that had left the monkey inside the play scape. My goodness, just a click of eyes, the little monkey change the ownership from other to him...hahaha...

Guess why am I taking the photo of his back? that is because I was keep pestering him from behind to return the little monkey to the original place, it case the owner of the monkey was looking for it right now but all of my persuade and pester were gone into the drain, he was just simply ignore me and got it over from me. my goodness!!! Ended up, I negotiated with him to have a rest and have some drink and chips before we continue the play and surprisingly he agreed to return it back to the original place and waved and said bye bye to that little monkey. *faint*

Teng Teng Teng, finally we were resting!!! Coffee and some bread and chips...

Enjoying the chips...and a little bread!!

"Yummy Look" hahaha...damn hiao..

Here's the access card into Polliwogs!

After the break, he was so eager to cheong into the play area again, see the way he returned the card to me so that he can quickily run into the play area. Kan cheong spider...

This is the balancing bar where he can did it quite well since last play gym.

Observing the action of Ball Shooting-Rifle.

I didn't know that he observed the whole functioning of the shooting-rifle earlier on until I saw he collected all the tiny little softy balls from the ground and started to insert them into the little hole right above the shooting-rifle and follow by aiming then shoot the balls out by simply pressing the green button right in front of the shooter. I witnessed it with my jaw dropped way down and felt so proud that he actually operating the big shooting-rifle that way bigger than him. Initially I was still thinking this thingy are main for elder kids and so I didn't even know or study how to play with this big equipment right in front of us.

Look, he can't even reach the hole but tip-toeing while putting the balls. Even the one higher than him also tip-toeing....hahah..can't they just invent one smaller version shooting gun for the younger kids...emmm...

After about an hour of play, we left Polliwogs and find that since it was still early so I brought Dan Dan for a morning stroll at the beach. He was quite skeptical with the wave at the very beginning and yet he was so eagerly to challenge the wave by moving one step forward at time. I am still yet to let him play beside the beach except for the casual walk for 1 or 2 times but will definitely create a sand play date for him soon, and hopefully is at Sentosa Beach.

We ended the morning play & walk at about 12++pm and again we took a cab back home and after the shower, it just nice for Dan's afternoon nap and mummy can finally take a good rest too.

We met up Uncle Cheong, Linda gugu and daddy for dinner at Kallang Leisure Park and after dinner, we did some shopping at the atrium and found this "Car Transporter" quite cheap so bought it for Dan Dan, look at the way he posed with his new "toy car" to the camera. Cant stand him that he can be quite a vein pot at time...hahaha..

It was another fulfilling day to us and our motto live life as if it is the last day of your life...
