Jurong Bird Park

It was Sunday dated 25/4/2010, another unplanned visit - Jurong Bird Park, Singapore. Linda gugu blurted it out with no 2nd thought when we were on our journey to no where after the breakfast. There we went directly home to get ourselves ready for this kind of high intensity exercise (Long haul walk under the hot Sun).

Once again, thank you uncle cheong for the entrance tickets. Children under 3 is absolutely FOC!

The Entrance of the Bird Park, Dan Dan just woke up from his afternoon nap, he was still numb to everythings that went to him.. Uncle Cheong bought us some cold drinks and he insisted to carry it with him. Luckily, we managed to shift his attention from the 2 bottle of drinks to somethings more exciting then he willing to let it go.

Quite a fascinating cafeteria (children session) with the little chairs all made from different figure of animals. Me and Dan went in to snap some photos while Uncle Cheong purchased the entry tickets from the counter.

Yeah, got our tickets and mummy tried to get Dan to pose at the entrance of the Birdpark for some memory shots but look at what kind of pose we got from him, not quite coorperative though.Watching the Penguin in the move! Guess it was his 1st time to meet Mr. & Mrs Penguin aside from the picture book.

Hallo...Penguins~~

It was about the time for Birds n Buddies Show at 3pm so we headed straight to the Pools Amphitheatre earlier after the penguins and owls's gallery which is all fully air-conditioning. We were quite earlier and the theatre was only 5% filled.

This is the Lory Loft where you can get a step closer to all the colourful birds as they are being let free and be the center of attraction to the visitors. Be careful, as they will just anytime landed on your head, shoulder or any part of your body.

Dan Dan was ticklish that I used the tissue to wipe his feet and he kept kicking my hands away and nearly caused Linda gugu to fail backward.

He is still dont like any caps/hats to be on his head. Still, we like to put one on him everytime we saw a nice caps/hats display on the shelve. The above was taken when he tried to fling the hat off his head. Linda gugu said this one look like Michael Jackson's signature pose...haha nice one...

We ended the visit at about 6pm++ and followed by dinner before we headed home. Another fruitful and definately had loads of fun visit and we will be back again :)
