Here's we are back on the 2nd day of our trip...haha... friend has teased that our trip just went for a day??? how about the rest of the posts?? haha ... As some of you might know, we have been real busy with our going to shift (probably on 3 July) and new house stuffs...We have barely enough time to stay at home nowadays, usually we will be going out to hunt for new stuffs for the new house or going over to the new house for some final touch up supervision and cleaning...
Here's back to the trip, 2nd day our tour itinerary was officially commenced... We met with the 2nd group at the hotel lobby at 8am and proceeded to our dim sum breakfast.
After the breakfast, we headed to the ferry terminal .. While Peter assisted to get the ferry tickets for all of us, it was time for some group photos...The ferry was quite shaky in the beginning, I got bit of "butterfly" in me so as Dan Dan i guess, he came to me and said :"mummy i am scared"..haha luckily the sailing turned smooth after the initial nervousness.
After the lunch, the long waited destination - Ruins of St Paul's Cathedral 大山巴牌坊- the attraction that cannot be missed when you visit Macau. It is considered Macau's most famous landmark when you can only see the front facade... According to the tour guide, it was a Catholic church but was destroyed by fire for 3 times and end up they refused to re-built it and hence it continued to be preserved as one of the attractions for the tourists.
Tour guide told us a tip that to have the best shots, we have to go down 18 steps from the top of the staircase...We didn't questioned much and everybody was obediently proceeded to count the steps..hahah.... i find it so cute...hahah in fact if you have a good camera, you shall be able to take a nice and stunning shots at any angle as long as it is not to near to the church.... Continue the journey down the staircases, there are shops/outlets along the alleyways that selling all kind of stuffs..eg: t-shirts/local products/sport wears and etc...a nice place to walk/shop around.... The place is called Senado Square (Largo do Senado). This place is called Leal Senado Building. It was the seat of Macau's government during the colonial past. The building itself was erected in 1784 and other than its fascinating architecture, it also has a lovely garden with the large open area is paved with cobblestones in a traditional portuguese style, with black and white's pattern, and the fountain at the centre makes a popular meeting point. In fact we had our meeting point here too with the tour guide and others... The last and final destination-- of course another cant be missed spot - The Venetian Macau... it is a resort hotel with the biggest casino in it at Macau, Luxury stuffs... all be found here... One of the most unique icon in this buiding will be it fake sky...where tour guide told us 人在走,云在漂!It is a real statement....try it if you have a chance to visit to Macau.. We had a real great time over at Macau...especially with a jovial tour guide...we left Macau at 8pm and reached hotel (Hong Kong) about 11++ We went back to Hotel...took our shower and straight headed to bed.... awaiting for another exciting day to come ..
