Hong Kong+ Macau Trip - Day 3- 23Apr11

Very Fast, it was the 3rd day of the trip.... today the itinerary included Ngong Ping 360, Po Lin Monastery, Tian Tan Buddha which is a tourism project on Lautau Island in Hong Kong, in the evening, we proceed to the Victoria Peak and Madame Tussauds. However, Peter had arranged some shopping to the Duty Free Malls for Jewellery and Watches .

Another sumptuous Dim Sum breakfast awaiting...

Here we were at the Duty Free Jewellery Mall, according to Peter, Jacky Chan own some share to this place too. Most of my colleague managed to spend some money here and of course including myself..haha i managed to get a watch...hee hee....

After some shopping spree, we proceed to Lautau Island..We was quite shocked after saw the amount of people waiting to embark into the cable cars... luckily we were under tour package and had the priority entry for the whole bunch of us....otherwise the precious time will be wasted
The weather is simply awesome..... The cool breezing air strucked us right immediate we walked out from the cable car station.... The place is equally fantastic, the amazing cultural themed village has been architecturally designed and lanscaped to reflect the cultural and spiritual integrity of the Ngong Ping area....Along the way to the Big Buddha, the diverse arrage of retail, dining and entertainement can be found there too.
Look at the extraordinary "themed village"..you will simply love it....and along the way, we had unstoppable photo-taking session....initially Peter was mentioned, we would be able to leave after 2-3 hours of stay at this area however someone had suggested to stay at this place until evening because of the nice cooling weather.... but until now we still not sure who is this "someone" that he was talking about...??
Wishing tree....Mummy was too excited with her photo taking and left the poor Little Dan at 1 corner to his own...hahaha....colleague was laughing away when someone said ai dui the son was pushed to one side.....He was so well behave throughout the journey and in fact he was enjoying the cool/nice weather under his daddy snug jacket quietly....

We were finally arrived at the main attraction of Ngong Ping. You will see a flight of 268 steps leading to the world's largest outdoor bronze statue- The Giant Buddha....

Of course before starting the resistance training (climbing 268 staircases with Danzel and a stroller) we have to charge-in some energy first..... A vegetarian lunch has been arranged.... Peter took some opportunity to earn some extra-income by showing us the souvenir from Disneyland. Of course the price is some much lower than we got it directly from Disneyland.

Here's started our journey up to say "Hi" to the Buddha... You can see from the following photo, i was setting target to carry Dan all the way up to the peak...unfortunately I was being defeated.. Uncle Piaw was so kind/gentlemen to help carry Dan midway up to the peak. It was drizzling and i had to carry the umbrella while carrying Dan....xiong~~

Look at the extend of sacrification/hardship from a mum....Buddha...bless us...bless us to have a good/filial son when he grown up....and also bless him to be healthy/safe always and forever....

Daddy posed handsomely infront of Giant Buddha...After so long, finally some group photo at the peak (behind Buddha), boss was not with us...

Another real group photo with Lau Pang....
Here's the touhu huay that deem to be smooth and different from one that we can get outside...Peter explained that the touhu huay there are made from the spring water from the hill therefore it is very smooth that we can actually use the straw to suck it up even if it is inside the cup...Look at the crowd, Dan falled asleep on the way back...and got no more priority in the return journey.... at the end lau pang willing to pay more for us to take the crystal cabin....and everyone of us was cheering away because less crowd at the Crystal Cabin...

See we got in the crystal cabin right after the payment.... this is the cable car that can see right through to the bottom of us....scare scare....

After the Lautau Island Peak, we proceed to another peak...which is the " The Peak" It was almost in the evening 6-7++pm when we arrived....Along the way, Peter told us the house of many super stars from Hong Kong.....damn filty rich bunch of people....
This is the place that most of us cant stand the cold.... me myself cant even tolerate for 5 minutes and quickily i scooped up Dan Dan and dashed into the shopping mall.....it really freeze to your heart and soul....and guess it was my first time to encounter such coldness...

Here we were at the Mdm T... as if you notice, someone is always there to help us carrying Danzel stroller up/down staircases many time many time.... he is my colleague hubby ---- uncle Piaw..... very nice/gentleman chap and someone that fun to be with during the trip... hehe thank you so much Piaw Ge....

My pianist in the house!!!
Daddy in his la la land dream of his ex- girlfriend...hahah

Another round of stroller carrier...haha xie xie piaw ge...

Look -- didnt know that Lady GaGa is so petite...

Of course, Dan also wanted to take photo with his idol - Mickey...look at his style pose..

Our most expansive meal in the trip...
After came down from the peak... Peter sent us back to hotel, we continued our shopping spree nearby the hotel and managed to get some "Milo" T-Shirts for Dan ...
