Korea, Day 3 - 10 June 2012

Day 3, we woke up really early to have our final pack-up back to Seoul. Our returning flight was at 8.15am but before proceed to Gimpo Airport, we had our simple breakfast. The breakfast of the day was Porridge but we had some premium highlight in our simple dish ---Abalone! Something really light to soothen our belly again after all the fried, grilled, pan-fried dishes for the past 2 days and also more days ahead to come.
We were really early to warm up the business of the cosy eating house!

After breakfast, here everyone of us again slowly lugged our heavy luggages to Gimpo Airport. It was here the little poor wheel of the luggage  (lent it from mama) dislodged from it staid position and came off after the extra 15kg load landed on it (see picture). We had the handicapped luggage toured around with us for the remaining 5 days back in Seoul. Apologise to mama for the damage and we had the Isetan Voucher compensented for her loss.
After 1 hour and 5 minutes flight, we arrived at Seoul. We were brought to Sinchon Shopping Street, a famous shopping street in front  of Korea's first women university, Ewha Women's University,梨花女子大學. One of the best and exciting  to us women in the whole itinerary! Our long-awaiting authetic Korea's Fashion, made in Korea and not China!! We were only allowed to spend 1.5 hours here and whithin this 1.5 hours, we only managed to roam in 2 shops (1 accessory and 1 fashion boutique) what's sad one!!

Look at all  the exciting array of shops ahead of us, too bad we did not have time for them...gloomy :( but if there is any future free and easy trip to Korea again, Sinchon Shopping Street is a must go! They have wide range of latest fashion (good workmanship and materials) which selling at quite reasonable price. Furthermore, they allows bargaining too!! Another added point, you have chance to be friends with the hot babes and hunkys too, they are friendly  at least at our encountered. After spending about WON100,000 (about S$111) we proceed for Lunch!

Dan fall asleep in the journey and the poor mummy had to carry the heavy torso around!
Another yummy lunch awaiting..

By the way, here's the Tongdaemun Doota, we were placed at one of the huge commercial shopping mall for about 3-4 hours, doota is a fashion mall full of trendy/lastest fashions, there are total 500++ stores throughout the 8-story building. I guess we did not have so much time to explore every floor of the mall, we splited into 3 groups which myself and hubby went directly to children floor... I was amazed and overjoyed with the kids fashion at Korea, it was just like the one we normally see online. It is totally different from the kids Fashion in Singapore.. Everything looks hip and funky!! You just felt like buying the whole departmental store but the amount of money we have, dont allow us :( Anyway, i managed to get 3 bottoms and 2 shirts for Danzel.. also 2 giri outfits for friends!

Even the road side stall, we had great time shopping spree too!!

See even buying Korea's Chopstick, look's happy!!
After the shopping spree, we went to Nami Island, Namisum is a tiny half-moon shaped island located in Chuncheon, South Korea, formed as it was inundated by the rising water of the North Han River as the result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944. This place get famous after the Korea Drama " Winter Sonata" starred by Bae Yong-joon and Choi Ji-woo where they had the scene at the footpath in this islands..
This is the tourist all-time-favourate attraction therefore undoubtedly it was so sardine packed, but in order to experience the "winter sonata" feel, we had to ordeal the crowd and all the waiting time... See Danzel's is so fortunate to have someone so love him that carried him most of the time during our trip. Thank you mama and Danzel will eventually know how much you love him in no time when he read/see all the entries that I posted here...several years later...

While waiting, cache with some group photo, nice Korea's style framework
All headed to embark on ferry to the island
My favourite's pic!
Look at the expression of my little one~~ how's cute!
The curve on the eye's brown and upper lip!
In membrance of Winter Sonata
Oh gosh, how long do we need to get stuck here~~

Finally we had landed and stepped onto the same island as the show that I watched and cried buckets few years back -  the NAMI ISLAND!
Although we had yet to reach the scene at where the drama filmed but the initial picturesque scenerary already pleased us so much. Look at the color of the leaves, it gave us an autumn feel even it wasnt Autumn that time, but it more than satisfaction to me :)

We likes the pespective line up of pine trees behind us...and the romantic setting of the whole area..We took many photos- just alone with all the pine trees...haha...

Family Photo with the beautiful real back-drop this time!
Opps...breastfeeding in public?!

Enjoying ice-cream and melted together with the beauty of the island!
Resting after a long walk before leaving the island for dinner...We got to have dinner earlier this night as we need to head to Mount Seorak for the journey near to 3 hours in the bus.

Dinner and off we went to SEORAKSAN!
